i was mentioned before, but i think it deserves an extra thread:
jasuto has the potential to be a musicians instrument rather than a toy. midi in/out support (e.g. with the midi mobilizer, iconnectivity) would be a big step in that direction.

The man who is developing MidiPad for the iPad has implemented the native apple midi over tcp that apple left out of the iPhone/iPad, and a driver for the pc(works great). I asked if he was willing to license the code to you and he is. His name is Tobias Erichsen, you should be able to contact him via Midipad.com

I would also be very interested in midi! Especially since I was never able to get OSC to work on it...
As far as I know 4.2 now supports CoreMidi natively either using wi-fi or through the camera connection kit.. this should make it even easier to implement... and would not require the uset to have any extra hardware.
