So it was only the stuff in the Spectral folder? At any rate, I uploaded the new spectral scenes to the community which solves the problem...

Fantastic work Chris!!
Jasuto just gets better and better.
I can't wait to get the new iPhone 4g, or HD, whatever its going to be called.
Then I can run some of the more demanding scenes.
My poor 3g is struggling to keep up.
The scale module ROCKS, FFT is awesome!
Spectral is very cool, although i would like to see the buttons along the side,
instead of in the middle of the screen.
This is easily my favorite app on my phone, no close second.
Endless entertainment and exploration!
THANKS!!!!

You could also try the latest (3rd gen) iPod touch, it runs all built-in and community scenes effortlessly. I got my iPod touch from Amazon for about $180, and it's now my main development device.

My iPad also runs all the scenes available perfectly.

Ok, 1.2.2 was available this morning, just downloaded it a few minutes ago. Now, how do we use the FFT/iFFT etc - it appears to work like a send with a global setting - does that mean there is only one FFT that can be used at a given time? Also, aside from using the "Spectra" setting on the menu, how do we get to the other screens shown in your post the other day?

You can have as many FFT/iFFT's as your device will permit.

If you can't see the new Spectral category, check the community, that's where the vocoder example lives. Some people backed their scenes up (via FTP) then did a fresh install of Jasuto to get all the new scenes...

For the Scale node, check in the Instruments category under 'holyPluck'. To create a new Scale node you'll find it in the Create->IO menu, all the FFT stuff is in the FFT menu :P

Also watch the demo video, you should be able to follow along with that and recreate everything in the initial post.

Its all there, just need to understand how to use it - looks like in you Vocoder patch, the FFT is followed by the Bands node. What do these two notes do differently - I'm guessing the FFT creates a set of sine waves from a given input, and bands takes that as an input somehow? Also, what is the difference between iFFT and FFT?

I'm going to write a post describing the Fourier stuff soon.

The iFFT is the Inverse Fast Fourier Transform, frequency -> time conversion.

The sequencer supports odd loop lengths

This doesn't seem to be true. I still get the same old extra note if I set seq loop length to three steps or some other odd number.

Other than that, wow!

the scale node seems really useful, but i was wondering how the mod output worked...? Does it function the same as the keyboard, where sliding your finger vertically changes the parameter its hooked up to? thanks.
