just to confirm: unbranded Samsung Galaxy S, Android 2.1 : Jasuto stutters and cracks, not useable. Would be nice if someone with Android 2.2 would report if it works there.

I also have the occasional stutter and lockup, and I have access to the files but no 'save' option... am I missing something?

Jasuto with 2.1-update1 on Galaxy S is quite usable. It clicks a bit, and sometimes takes a couple launches to work correctly. Killing other apps tends to make it work much better.

From my understanding, this is a Samsung-Android issue, and therefore will be fixed with 2.2 or some other update.

(I have a T-mobile Vibrant in the US, 2.1-u1 was pushed to my phone a couple months ago.)

me too... the clicks only start for me after adding several modules and some effects, not too bad, but annoying, I also am eagerly awaiting 2.2 in hopes it will fix this...

one hang up I am finding... adjusting the pulse width on a square wave generator causes a FC unless playback is turned off first, not sure what end has the problem here...

overall, I am still quite happy with what I am learning to be able to do... with a few bugs worked out, this will be an incredible tool that I will become addicted to and it will surely ruin my life...

This app looked promising and the Galaxy S (Captivate) should be more than enough of a beast to run this thing, but when it comes down to it the phone acts like I'm trying to kill it when I run it. It's completely unusable due to lag and stuttering. I've been able to run Quake III and many other 3D games without a problem, so I know it's not an issue with performance from the Galaxy S.

It would be nice if the developer could test this with a Galaxy S device.

Quake is completely relying on the devices GPU to render each frame via accelerated OpenGL, the CPU is used for it's very simple game logic. Jasuto uses the CPU to process hundreds of thousands of floating point operations per sec, so comparing it to Quake is meaningless.

However, I'm sure the Galaxy S is more than enough to run complex scenes in Jasuto, even on a Nexus One I can easily get scenes with 20-30 nodes, and double that on my G2.

I'm working on another update for Jasuto on Android (v 1.3.1) which hopefully will fix a lot of these issues....

Thanks! I would love to be able to use this on my phone. I really enjoy the VST.
